One of my favourite ongoing trends is all things 90s. Maybe it's because back in the mid 90s, I was in my prime in high school and at that point in life, I hadn't really defined my personal style. Here's some evidence:

Actually, in that last picture, I think my mom is around my current age (ish). Crazy to think that she is only 20 years older than me and was mothering a ....edgy....teenager at my current point in her life. Sometimes I feel like I'm getting the teenager with Lucia's current attitude.
Anyway. Back to the nineties. I have loved bringing in a few pieces here and there to play with this trend. One rule I always follow with trends is that I never spend a lot on them; I save the splurges for key wardrobe pieces. What have I added? A few chokers, some darker lipstick and some turtlenecks. I thought I would have some fun with the look I wore yesterday for Pantsuit Tuesday and turn it from current to fun with some 90s flair. I used the same lipstick that I showcased last week in my Wednesday post, but applied it darker.
Another easy way to add some trends to your look? Fun glasses. I am now up to 5 pairs and 3 of them are from Firmoo. It's inexpensive, they ship very quickly, their customer service is fantastic and they have some great selection with some new trends. They have a little treat for 5 of my readers:
Here we are offering you a coupon to share with your friends who are in need of glasses.
Code “22eef7598e” Expires: 2016-11-19 23:59:59 UTC
It covers the fee of a complete pair of glasses from this page, shipping and handling fee are excluded. (I did this once and my total bill was 20$- which was the shipping)
It can be used by 5 persons, one time per person and new customers only.
Hopefully you can pick out some fun glasses. As for me, I am still on the hunt for some velvet and have created a look board and a Pinterest board so you can follow along.
