We are down to the last two weeks of Style Perspectives, but don't fret we have some fun planned for June. There will be a look everyday, hosted on our own individual blogs and then on Wednesdays we'll continue to do a recap and link up on the Blended Blog. Stay tuned on Friday and I'll show you the first group of prompts.
Now on to that navy and nautical look which I wore twice in one week. That's gotta be a record. Actually, I think it happened because I wore the outfit to school on Thursday and then forgot to put it away, so when I needed something on Sunday to go in to town for supper, it was an easy pick...on the floor still.
AAAANNNYYWAY.
I picked this tank from Banana Republic that's a couple years old- yay for shopping my closet. I paired it with my new 7s from Vegas and my Birks. When I wore it to work, I wore the look with wedges. I also need to point out how perfectly well the earrings go with the outfit. They were a gift from my ladyfriends for my bday- sparkle balls from Hillberg and Berk. I love a Saskatchewan home grown company!
Actually, if I were to dig into the archives of spring 2015- I would find that I have styled this top before and I kinda like it better with the white jeans and yellow shoes. Also, now I want my hair short. Eek.
What do you think? Not like I'll listen to you anyway, I've already returned the pretty blue floral dress from last week and have moved on to another one. ooOooOooops. Speaking of last week, look at all the great Graduation looks. Join us next week in our last Style Perspectives look- the summer go-to dress.

I wish that top was new so I could buy it, because I adore it. Maybe when I'm skinny you can bring it to Toronto next year and I can borrow it:)
ReplyDeleteGreat interpretation! Very nautical indeed.
ReplyDeleteYou look great! Red is definitely your color and I love the little anchors on the top, I'm all about the nautical look! LOVE! XO -Kim

Today's Post: Alena's Style: Blue Florals...
I love when I can wear an outfit a few days in a row because not many people saw me :) My favorite is when I wear something Sunday and then can wear it to work on Monday. Not having to think on a Monday morning = great way to start the week!
ReplyDeleteLoving that close up shot of you...pretty eye just peeking through...that sounds creepy...okay moving along. I love that top, and I like it that it's so versatile and can go with several different bottoms.
ReplyDeleteI've always had a soft spot in my heart for the nautical look. Anchors away friend :D!
ReplyDeleteThat is a super fun top!

I looooove those flats!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't go wrong with a nautical look in my eyes. Maybe it's just because my favorite animals are mermaids though. The red contrast is unique! Can't wait to see the summer dress look!
Pretty top and I am loving the H&B sparkle balls.😍. I also laughed about you returning that beautiful blue dress. (Smiling and shaking my head). You will look great in whatever you choose, it seems to me it's a gift you have.
ReplyDeleteOooooo!!! I LOVE that top!! I like it both ways: white and blue jeans!

Ok, so you returned the blue dress...what does that mean for the other one? You know, EVERYONE else voted for the blue, but you might remember that I voted for the pockets! Hope it survived the chopping block. On to today's look...perfectly summery! Of course, those green flats are crazy unexpected fun. Kind of like YOU!
ReplyDeleteI also like the top with the white pants! Those earrings are amazing. A friend has a jewelry store in Melfort that sells them. I seriously want them. But you know me, likely in a neutral color. . . . You are perfectly suited for the red, though!!!
ReplyDeleteI like that top both ways! I have a nautical print tank I need to pull out now!
ReplyDeleteYour nautical printed tank is really nice! I like it with both the white pants and the jeans - it works nicely in both outfits:)

I loooove that top with the cute little anchors! I was actually looking for a shirt similar to that. The white pants pairing is my fave coz of the fun green shoes. Love your style!
ReplyDeleteLove this combo! So fun, sassy, and fresh for the warmer months! And PS I rewear my clothes allllll the time!!

ReplyDeleteI'm badass. You should and could wear more red
ReplyDeleteYa, but I love your stripes.
ReplyDeleteThanks- red is not the first colour I gravitate too...maybe I should more often
ReplyDeleteI need to go out more on the weekend to get more wear of some outfits.
ReplyDeleteI kinda like it!
ReplyDelete:)
ReplyDeletebahahahahahha
ReplyDeleteI love anything flourescent and mermaids are pretty awesome too
ReplyDeleteI bet it would work with grey too, now that I think about it.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many pretty neutral colours too!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely kept the other one!
ReplyDeleteI kinda like it better with the white, me thinks
ReplyDeleteMuaahahhaha- I did find an even better dress...which I'll style for the last prompt!!
ReplyDeleteI can't decide which of the two I like better- I think the white.
ReplyDeleteSassy...YES! That is moi.
ReplyDeleteI like crazy shoes.
ReplyDeleteYay Vegas jeans. And I'm Glad I'm not the only one that rewears outfits because they are sitting there ready and I'm seeing completely different people.
