Month Review: What I did in April

Welcome to another month gone by, the numbers edition. You can read my previous numbers posts here.

I'm sad April is over but I'm super GRATEFUL for many, many things that went down, so let's take a look at them with my month review.  Such as:

5 birthdays celebrated (Josh's, Brother Rob, Mine, Kinsey's, Alison's) and 3 observed (Ben's, Rocco's and Chantelle's)

.

4 years since my Grandma Diehl passed away on April 24th.  I will always remember how she greeted me when I came into her home: both hands on my cheek, something loving to say and a big kiss.  She had the softest skin.

4 hours travelled to get to Las Vegas.  6 hour lay over in Calgary to lunch with the bestie. 6 new friends.  1 conference attended. 82 pounds of margarita consumed.  5 glasses of wine with my friend that I normally have glasses of wine with over texts. 5 big bags of Ketchup chips handed out to my American friends, which all ended up going home with Sarah, where I suspect her husband ate them all.  1 handbag, 2 pairs of shoes and 2 pairs of pants purchased.  8 meal pictures.

allofthe Jays' games watched or listened to, despite them not being awesome, I'm just happy to have ball again.

1 new bike for me! I haven't had a bike since I was 12 and Christy and I would go biking before school.  Super excited to get out with the kids!

1 new meal tried: avocado and toast

1 big ice cube melted- now to get some water added, the filter back running and she needs a good cleaning and then it will be pool season over here!

4 nights for ball try outs for Will.

5 weight training sessions at the gym. I like feeling my biceps and need to start going more regularly.  Under the good influence of Carrie, I have started my random pushup program. I do 25, 4 times a day at random times.   I like feeling strong.

8 million hours of corrections done before Vegas because report card marks were due the day I got back from Vegas.

April is my favourite month for many reasons, but I think it all boils down to fresh, spring air and lots of family fun! [Tweet "How was your month? Link up with me here and show how you did, with numbers"]

  10. 82 pounds of margaritas, heck yes :P. I also love feeling my biceps and I am not about flexing them in the mirror either. I should totally join you in the push-up thingy. I don't do them enough. I just try to reflect back to a time when I couldn't do a dang "boy" push-up to save my life and feel proud at any I can do now though.
