Under 10$, Over 10$ and then some

by - May 26, 2014

Happy Monday!  Only 4 more Mondays left until summer holidays and for me, the end of being a classroom teacher.  Craaaaazy!
This Monday I shall be celebrating the awesome items that I've been using that are under and over 10$.  Before we go to that though, I just want to remind you that the Summer Style Me Challenge opens today for registration.  Check out this link for the information.  I'll be signing up and I'm hoping you will too!

As for my fave products, I've got three and today I'm going to focus on all things workout related:

Under 10$:
My sister, Kyla, introduced me to this website: My Yoga Online.  I love doing Yoga and dislike going to classes that are normally on during times I want to be with my family.  So this is a sure-fire way to get my yoga on.  At home.  Whenever I want.  I used this website often in the winter and as soon as I get my butt back in gear and my outside patio yoga spaced tidied up, you bet ya I'll be back on the site.  Seriously though, 10$ a month for unlimited yoga??  Can't beat that.

Over 10$:
The Insanity workouts are awesome because of their simplicity.  Dan was calling them old school workouts...lots of jumping and suicide drills.  Things we loved to do at hih  No equipment is necessary...just the commitment.  Dan and I survived month one during March/April and I'm talking myself back up to doing month two starting this week.  Again, easy to do at home. Willis also enjoyed this workout.  It is a little more pricey- I found mine for 129$ at Walmart, but I also used it and saw results, so it was worth it, if you ask me.

My friend from work, Elaina, introduced me to this youtube collection of workouts by Jessica Smith that range in length and subject.  I love the variety of the workouts, but most of all I love that they're free.  Again. And I can do them anytime I want.

  2. I need to give yoga a try again - I think it would help with my anxiety. The online site seems like a good place to start.

  3. That yoga site sounds great. My yoga class attendance has gone way down in May due to all the end of year stuff.

  4. I'm going to try those Jessica Smith worksouts ASAP!!! Thanks so much for sharing!!

  5. Another great free yoga resource is runnersworld.com/yogaseries and runnersworld.com/yoga. Hits a few different skill levels and there are videos of individual poses as well as longer sequences.
