Comforting things

A learning weekend

This past weekend I had the chance to have a Saturday to myself to take a photography course.  It was an intermediate course offered by a local photographer who had quite a lot of experience teaching.  It's been a long time that I've actually sat down to learn something, most of my free time going to maintaining life and playing with kids, so this was a real treat. (I mostly enjoyed a quiet noon hour to myself, mall walking, dress admiring and Starbucks sipping)
It was a good day, however Lucia had me up all night the evening before, so I had a tough time concentrating and to be honest, it was a pretty basic as a course.  I did manage to take away a couple good pointers that I will be able to apply to my photography.
I love learning and I plan on continuing to do things like this in order to develop my skills.

In application of those new found skills, I had the chance of just sitting and enjoying Willis' ball game last night.  It was great to sit back and watch my boy play (and take many photos)

Here is what I got:

  1. I can't believe Willis didn't take anyone on the bench out with his mighty swing! They aren't even watching! LOL

Those pictures are great! I love the one of the fence and both of the shots of the kid's shoes!
