3 purple lies

Something's gotta give.

I'm stuck in a rut.
and I don't like it one bit.

Something has got to give.

I was in such a good routine before Christmas.  Workouts were plentiful, I was eating healthily and I still had time for my kids, my husband and myself.  But most importantly, I was losing weight and feeling healthy.

Nope, not anymore.  Now I'm tired, I'm sluggish and I don't have that time balance anymore.
I guess this is what they call a plateau?  A brick wall?  An extra large chocolate sundae and a glass of wine?


It's so frustrating because I have goals and I feel like I'm wasting time wasting time.  If that even makes any sense.  I need some major motivation or a major game change to get this ball rolling again.

Any ideas out there?  All I know is that something has to be changed.
I'm thinking I definitely have to alter my workout time.  Right after school was working well before, but now I'm way too tired and really only wanting to play with my kids.  The a.m might be where it's at.

Work is pretty good right now.  I really love my grade 9s and am enjoying the subjects I'm teaching, but at the same time I'm feeling like it's taking way too much of my day out of me. It's hard shutting off my brain at 3:30.  I'm still feeling frazzled most of the time, because there is also photography and videography that occupy my brain.  SOOOO much to be thinking about.

I need to get it together.
Really I think I need this break coming up.  It'll definitely give me some free time to get in some great workouts, plan some healthy meals and get back into the good habits that were doing me so much good before Christmas.

And I guess I really should enjoy said February break, as it will be our last one.

Don't even get me started on that one....URG.

UPDATE: Look what I found on Groupon today. Definitely bought one and am quite excited to try it out.

    I think you will love morning workouts... I use to work out in the mornings everyday(I don't anymore due to a demanding work schedule that doesn't work with the SPIN schedule at the gym - so now I work out at night.) Anyways working out in the moring is unbelievable. You feel energized - I think it makes me more concious of what I am eating and I make healthier choices. But the best reason of all....when your work day is done the evening is yours to do whatever you want with - no stress to workout!

    I definitely suggest morning work-outs...the first few days will be tough but once your in the routine it is AMAZING!!
