Fall Home Tour

This is me: Mommy Diaries .2

Welcome to round two of the Mommy Diaries. Different questions provided and hopefully some new insight to the greatest job on the planet! I figure I should probably start this off......
ps. if you haven't handed in your submission, don't fret, there's still time. I'm waiting for you....

My Babes: Lucia Kelly and Willis Jules

1-Things your kids do to make you smile (action, something they say...)

How Willis randomly comes up with the wildest ideas or craziest memories.  We'll be walking down the street when suddenly he'll spurt out lyrics to some random song.   I'm sexy and I know it.  Lucia is hilarious right now.  Put her down in any store and she's running up and down the aisles, screaming at people or saying hi.  Too cute.  Or when she puts her hands on her butt and shakes it.  Bahahahah.

2- Favourite vacation place with family (can be near or far, realistic or dreamlike, as specific as you want)

Our best vacation by far was San Diego. If I wasn't working right now, I'd beg for a getaway to Legoland or even another Legoland somewhere in this big, big world.  London maybe?  Florida?  Essentially a successful vacation for us has to have a pool and warmth to play outside.

3- How you would spend a rainy day at home (with your kids).

Crafts, baking and more crafts!!!!!!  I'd have to be organized for this but it would definitely happen.

4- What you do to survive the long winters.

Same as a rainy day:  cookies are our specialty.  Maybe we'll branch out this year.  I'm also getting way more organized and motivated for crafts since I got hooked on Pinterest.

5- What kind of traditions are you creating for Christmas.

Dan started our "12 Days of Christmas" a couple of years ago, so we'll definitely be continuing that.  I can see it evolving as our kids get older and can do much more complex/thoughtful things.
The elf on the shelf is a favourite, Willis can't wait to see Tic Tac Toe again (he named him last year)  Kyla actually tried convincing him that the rabbit tracks outside were Tic Tac Toe's today.  Not too sure if he bought it.
I'm always looking for ways to enrich our holidays and will definitely be paying close attention what the other Mommies have to offer on this one.

6- If you were to have one entire day, alone in your house, how would you spend it?

Normally I would say read a book, clean the house and have a bath.  But I'm going to assume that those are done.  So what would I really do?  Make a video, play with photoshop.  Organize something.  Complete a craft from Pinterest.  Play SuperMario.  Paint.
So much I'd LOVE to do.

  1. Play SuperMario - Good one. Did you know PETA is up in arms because the new SuperMario 3DS has Mario back in his raccoon suit?! Oy.
