Me so hungry.

Our cookie to person ratio in this house in the winter is ridiculously high. On the cookie side.
It's ALL Willis wants to do.
Me: Willis, want to play outside?  Willis, want to build a snowman?  Willis, want to do something? Anything?
Willis: Let's make cookies.

So, after averaging probably a batch every other day, I'm having to get creative with 1) recipes, and 2) consumption dispersion.
Since Christmas I think I've tried every recipe out there.
And this one, by far is our favourite.  It is requested by anyone who enters the house and they only last a day.  The cookies, that is.  We tend to keep our company a bit longer.  Unless they eat too many cookies.

This recipe came from my girlfriend, Natalie.  She graciously passed it on to me and because I'm all for the Pay it Forward movement, I'm sending it out to you.

 Our Cookie Monster highly recommends these treats with a cold glass a milk.  I, on the other hand, love to dunk them in a steamy glass of coffee.
Le recipe:

Cream together the following:
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp of vanilla

Combine in a separate bowl:
2 cups flour
1 tsp. of baking soda.

Blend dry and wet ingredients.  Add 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup SKOR bits.  (I found some skor chipits with the specialty ingredients at Walmart.  Already crushed so it was easier than crushing a skor bar yourself. Which, don't lie, you end up eating most of it anyway)

Bake 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
TIP:  Here is the key for a nice, moist cookie.  Bake only for 9 minutes.  That'll leave you with a gooey cookie that will melt in your mouth.
OTHER TIP: Sister-in-law Monique was over yesterday baking with Will and they added cocoa to the recipe.  How about these apples cookies?
