Gratitude with TBB

Fall Fall and more Fall.

I love fall. Almost more than spring and summer and winter. Seriously, for a girl who loves change, the variety of seasons in Saskatchewan is where it's at. So I welcome fall with open arms.  I love turning on the fireplace in the morning because it's just a little cool on the toes. I love the burnt smell of leaves and the way they crunch under your feet.  I love the freshness in the air and the coziness of a cuddly sweater.  Everything about the change of season is great.  I mostly love the colours, they somehow make me take a little more time to breathe and enjoy the beauty that surrounds us every day.  I love Pumpkin Spice Lattes and decorating my house in warm shades of oranges and reds and purples and the anticipation of many weekends spent in the company of great family and friends.

So here's my homage to fall in all my favourite fall inspired photos I could find in my old and new pictures.

And then eventually, I look with anticipation to the first snowflake that will eventually make it's way here...hopefully not until early December. And then all over again, I'll love every minute of the changing tides of the seasons.

  1. there is something in the autumn that is native to my blood-touch of manner, hint of mood; and my heart is like a rhyme, with the yellow and the purple and the crimson keeping time.

is this kinda how you feel?
